Can anyone give a really good recommendation of a really good Chiropractor that is located in Brooklyn (Boro Park/Flatbush area) & takes most or all insurances? I have lots of back pain & the one that I used to use has relocated a couple of yrs ago to his original place in Riverdale. I don’t have a way to get there cause I don’t drive the highway-I only do local driving. I used to have someone that used to once in a blue moon take me, but now he can’t anymore. Any suggestions or good recommendations?
Hummingbird consider the option of using an Osteopath. Osteopaths are able to do more maneuvers then a Chiropractor. I don’t have any names, because I don’t live in the USA. If you Google Osteopath NYC., see what you come up with.

Dr. Dreyfus is really really good, from Flatbush. Many people go to him. (I have on rare occasions, when I had constant pain and he was always on the mark as to the cause and treated it immediately, so there were no extra visits.) He’s also a really nice person. His wife works with him and you can ask for either one, but I’ve always used him.
It only costs $10 with my insurance.
Does anyone know of a good Chiropractor in Jerusalem?
Dr. Vincent Nunziata is excellent and has offices in Brooklyn and does house calls as well.

I think most medical and osteopathic doctors will tell you that “good chiropractor” is an oxymoron.
I work for a medical dr who refers his patients for chiropratic care to Dr Nunziata. He is very good and is an RN. He has a well rounded, integrative treatment approach to care and has been the right Shaliach for many.

Nfgo3 – your remark that a “good chiropractor is an oxymoron,” was off the mark and also sounded a bit rude. Most medical doctors are full of hubris. I have medical doctors who not only acknowledge the benefit of quality chiropractic care, but have sent patients to them. There are poor practicioners in EVERY field. There are also outstanding ones. Several members of my family are or were chiropractors. Each one was an oustanding example of the profession and helped MANY, MANY people to get immediate pain relief when medical intervention and pill after pill did not help them at all.
When I was pregnant, we were having a simcha at my parents’ house and I had an acute and sudden attack of sciatica. It was excruciating, and I could not get up off the floor (it literally knocked me off my feet). My brother is a chiro and he gave me an adjustment right there on the floor, and in literally ten seconds I was completely pain-free. It was miraculous. Particularly as I could not take any pain meds then, it was a bracha that such a simple action as an adjustment, could help me. Some claims they make are outrageous, but some doctors’ claims and actions are equally outrageous. You have to know who is a true practicioner and who is just a quack. That goes across the medical board.
