It is likely I am going to meet the Biala Rebbe in a few days, how do I address him?

You let him address you first.

Okiale, I should have mentioned he probably speaks English, as he used to live in Gateshead.

don’t address him at all. go straight to Hashem for help. for one that seeks out Hashem lacks nothing that is good (Tehillim 34:10 said in bentching)

If he isnt the rebbe of your chasidic sect. You say sholom aleichem, plain, thats it. Then you should introduce yourself. If you want, you can add your mothers name too. If you give him a kvitel, ten just state your name and surname and where you are from. Give him a while to read, then he will raise his face. At that point you can address any inquiries or requests. This is general protocol.

I fixed the ALL CAPS. Please don’t do that again.

So it’s okay to ignore someone just cause they’re a Rebbe?
