Africa sounds good. I always wanted to bag Kilimanjaro. Then, on the way back, I’ll swing by Libya to see how things are on the ground.
Venice? Forget what the tourist photos look like. I know someone who went for real. The canals are open sewage trenches (yuck)

If you do end up going to South Africa they have this meat called ‘biltong’. It’s raw, but cured. When you eat it it’s hard as a rock at first but then it gets kind of gummy. It’s so good. Can you pick me up a few lbs. and send it my way?
Just drop it out of the plane as you fly by. I’ll be waiting.

my sister and i go on vacation together all the time…because all our friends are either married or too poor to afford a vacation or both!!!
we’ve gone to atlantic city, chicago, naples (fl), london, paris, zurich, geneva, israel and although it would be more fun to go with a friend…it is what it is right!??!
i would love love love to go to south africa!!! july after my auditing section of the cpa, ill be in dire need of a good vacation, st lucia sounds tempting too!!

actually, i’ve heard of krugers state park, and that sounds cool – but besides seeing big houses (and each one with a swimming pool), i couldn’t think of much else and thought it might be somewhat dangerous – but, now that you’ve mentioned swimming with sharks, i can understand ;). (now, if you can find a way to go scuba diving with dolphins, count me in 😉

I am happy just going/being in israel. To me a vacation is a few days without work or any real responsibilities spent happily spending time with family whom I am very close with. Now ‘family time’ could be a cousin out in nevada just saying I am not against traveling around …

But if you want to eat like you’re on vacation, be sure to bring your own food. All we have now is 8 varieties of breadcrumbs and 4 shapes of pasta, plus the candy from shlach monos that no one wants to eat.

Sac, my cousin is getting married in South Africa in a few weeks and if I wouldn’t be 8 months pregnant at the time, I would totally use it as an excuse to go!
