Lesschumras, he did supply a link for the source, above. I guess if you like the pocketpacks, then you should stock up.

My guess (guess, not fact) is that this issue is completely unrelated to kashrus, but rather a money issue. Why would they make an “as of” date rather than just call it not kosher now?!?!

GoldieLoxx: some places like restaurants actually lose their hashgacha cause of not paying the place that gives them the heshsher! so she’s not totally off!

well, maybe they said a month ago, pay up by the end of May, if not we pull the hechsher. I remember something similar happened with the Carvel on ocean ave and M, it was kosher for years and years, and then suddenly they also took off the hechsher. (actually the same agency) I must say your idea also makes sense.

“Johnson & Johnson, the manufacturer of LISTERINE POCKETPAKS has informed KOF-K Kosher Supervision that they will be discontinuing kosher certification of LISTERINE POCKETPAKS as of July 1, 2009. “

It sounds from this, that Johnson & Johnson has chosen to stop having the hashgacha. (This quote is from the link that aaron613 provided above)
