Reb Moshe says very clearly in Igros Moshe Orach Chaim, Chelek 2, Siman 95 that if one holds avelios (No shaving, music etc.) from Rosh Chodesh & on and is making a wedding BEFORE R’Chodesh or on Lag B’omer, you COULD have music by the Sheva Brochos.
The Shulchan Aruch says not to make weddings during sefirat haomer. How do the acharonim get around this to permit them?
Some people allow weddings before Rosh Chodesh and on Lag BaOmer. In these cases, Sheva Brachos can come out during sefira.
