Certain words have cropped up in Shidduchim that I’m a bit unfamiliar with in that context. Maybe someone out there can help me.
What does common mean? And also what does ordinary mean?

I have never heard that. Can you post a sentence including them, so we can see the context? I am really curious about this.
We need sentence context.
It is very common for someone to be just, ordinary.
common can mean very usual, or it can be an insult to mean that someone has poor manners. Ordinary means nothing special one way or the other, very pareve.
oomis1105 has hit it exactly on the nail, in both instances.
