Do you read it?
October 26, 2018 12:34 am at 12:34 am #1611355JosephParticipant1. The Vues used to be called The T.V. Vues.
2. They still publish the T.V. schedule.
3. Consider that before bringing it into your home.
October 26, 2018 6:39 am at 6:39 am #1611361Ms. Chanandler BongParticipantYes, I’ve heard that people go OTD from looking at a TV schedule. Even if they have no TV.
October 26, 2018 9:25 am at 9:25 am #1611375Neville ChaimBerlinParticipantAren’t the Vues the 5 Towns thing that Joseph is known to write op-eds for?
October 26, 2018 9:25 am at 9:25 am #1611382yaakov doeParticipantOf course I remember when it was TV Vues, Then as now I quickly flip through it one line Tuesday night just looking at the upcoming grocery sales. Torah Times, which started later and has many more ads, isn’t available on line. I dout that anyone looks at the TV schedule.
October 26, 2018 11:43 am at 11:43 am #1611428anonymous JewParticipantIf you don’t have a TV , what’s the point?
October 26, 2018 1:05 pm at 1:05 pm #1611457👑RebYidd23ParticipantI don’t believe that Joseph writes in to the Vues.
October 26, 2018 3:43 pm at 3:43 pm #1611510The FrumguyParticipantIt is put out by folks that have NO CLUE as to what’s going on in Flatbush. Although the neighborhood is turning more frum, they insist on TV schedules, sports “star” interviews, glorifying Medinas Yisroel and plagiarizing the letters sent in to this very Coffee Room.
October 27, 2018 11:03 pm at 11:03 pm #1611619apushatayidParticipantThey know enough that their pages are filled with ads week after week. Someone reads it, to justify selling ads.
October 27, 2018 11:27 pm at 11:27 pm #1611666👑RebYidd23ParticipantTV schedules are old fashioned even for people who watch TV.
October 27, 2018 11:28 pm at 11:28 pm #1611668👑RebYidd23ParticipantIf you’re interested in the particular ads that are published in the Vues, it’s a good choice because it’s thinner than the other publications in its general category.
October 28, 2018 10:48 am at 10:48 am #1611887The FrumguyParticipantYes, there are ads, including a movie theater (FEH — TRAIF!).
October 28, 2018 9:03 pm at 9:03 pm #1612120👑RebYidd23ParticipantFor someone who’s so opposed to the Vues, you seem pretty familiar with it.
October 30, 2018 6:00 pm at 6:00 pm #1613970👑RebYidd23ParticipantI wouldn’t trade a better performing car for an air conditioned one.
May 1, 2020 11:45 am at 11:45 am #1855876JosephParticipantWhen (and why) did they change their name to to the Jewish Vues?
