I don’t know why i thought of this but isn’t it strange that both The Wolf and Kapusta are the only people that sign theyre name on the bottom of every post?

What’s to explain? I’ve been posting on message boards for over 10 years and in all that time, I’ve been signing with my name. I do the same thing on my blog.

I couldn’t tell you because I’m not a mod but whatever it was, they didn’t like it so I changed it.

How do we know that Wolf and Kapusta are not really Joseph or TMB?(Joseph is from before my time). How do we know I am not Joseph, or you? It’s really scary when you think about. We might all be having an identity crisis.

Can’t I just use a different place/computer/internet hookup to login, one for each place? What if I use my phone for one and my computer for the other (ok, no internet on my phone… at this point I don’t need it so wont pay for it)…or a computer at work/school? If I have two email addresses….. Who is really to say?

it seems to me to be a certain politeness, good manners or something like that. Most of us are in a rush and use whatever shortcuts we can, they are more formal and correct.
I don’t know kapusta, but Wolf is the last one I would expect to do something so childish as to have 2 screen names. It takes a special someone to resort to that.
Maybe *kapusta* is Eeees?

The Wolf and kapusta are very consistent with their identities.
I’ll be honest, a while back I did wonder if there was more going on than met the monitor screen with the Wolf and Mosherose, because Mosherose always seemed to pop up in response to the Wolf, and seemed like an almost too perfect foil for him, but I don’t feel that way anymore.
I will say that mbachur and deiyezooger are exhibiting some very Joseph-like characteristics, and seem to be attempting to delegitimize the multiple screenname issue with Joseph through ridicule and satire.
Hoping I don’t sound like McCarthy:-)

Yay! Some of the “old” chevra! I am back! (This time for real) I was (and still am a bit) busy but now that I got some stuff organized I can now really re-join the coffee room!
Oh and in keeping in line with the thread I can vouch that kapusta and wolfishmusings are two separate people (sorry gotta get back into the swing of things I have been gone a bit too long)

While I can vouch that we are two separate people, and so can Kapusta, I don’t see how you could do so unless you know who both of us are in real life.

Agreed.
Way back a bunch of people got into signatures.
I think it started with anonymisss using ~a~ as a signature and Kapusta followed. The Wolf has always had a sig as long as I remember.

Is that the way it happened? I honestly dont remember… I think maybe ames wrote something about having a good attitude or something and I started… I think there were other people too with signatures. qwerty and maybe asdf. And did AOB have one?
