Try being mekabel not touching your cell phone during davening, tried it and it has worked well. THe first few days were hard, but it gets easier and easier as the days go by.

TURN OFF THE CELL PHONE UNTIL AFTER DAVENING and you will never have a problem.

intellegent, that’s not how you cite a source.

If that were the case, the Zohar supposedly says lots of things. I have a spam folder full of emails that supposedly come from the zohar or someother holy man/book.

    yros,

    I wasn’t trying to ask. I asked.

    yossiea,

I just didn’t chap what you meant.

I heard that Rav Shmuel Berenbaum tz”l used to say that on all other days of Chanuka the bochrim go home early to light but on the last day they stay the entire second seder to learn. “Ah, Zos Chanuka” (This is Chanuka, learning the whole second seder.)

Rabbi Ashear said you are allowed to daven for nissim on Chanukah. (Don’t know the source he used.)

Zos Chanukah is a day full of nissim.

No one will ever forget the neis of Zos Chanukah just two years say with the tzadik Reb Sholom Mordechai.

The current parsha miketz מקץ stands for קןל, צום, ממון but the poor have no money, so it remains קץ שם לחשך.

We can daven for not open nisim as one’s parnasa because someone seeing the menorah would not know that a neis occurred. Maybe he poured everyday a full pitcher of oil into it. Therefore, it is an obligation on us to publicize it.

Let us not forget extra Torah learning as zos reminds us of זאת התורה.

Among the many other great things Zos Chanukah is known for, it will forever now be associated with the great Neis in our own Dor with the release of the Tzadik Reb Shalom Mordechai decades earlier than the antisemites hoped and expected in line with their corrupt “judgement”.
