Israel: Rozmerin Interchange Opens Connecting Gush Etzion To Route 443


Today the new Rozmerin Interchange was inaugurated on Begin Road, a direct route from the tunnels on Route 60 to Route 443 and all in 12 minutes. Route 60 is planned to be expanded in the next two years. Shlomo Ne’eman, head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council: “Gush Etzion is at the heart of a continuous transportation revolution”

Today, 12 minutes will separate from the Tunnel Highway in the Gush Etzion area and Highway 443. A new interchange, Rosemary on Begin Road, near the Gilo neighborhood of Jerusalem, was inaugurated Thursday. The interchange includes two levels and a 70-meter tunnel. The lower level will be a direct connection to the tunnel road.

From now on, it will be possible to cross Jerusalem on continuous travel without traffic lights, from the Tunnel Road (Route 60) to Route 443. The interchange will open to the drivers starting Thursday night.
