Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked addressed a conference Monday 20 Elul hosted by the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism�s (ICT) in Herzliya. The senior minister addressed threats including Hamas from Gaza, as well as Syria and Hizbullah from the northern borders.

Giving backing to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu�s policy, Shaked spoke of the need for Israel to play a larger role in bolstering the PA (Palestinian Authority) economy. She spoke of hiring more PA workers as a method towards achieving this goal, calling on the government to issue additional work permits. She said legal PA residents should be hired before one hires illegal foreigners.
