A Grad katyusha rocket has landed in the Yad Mordechai area making a direct hit on a structure in a border police base. According to preliminary reports from Magen David Adom, one person is in moderate-to-serious condition, three light and one being treated for hysteria.
Ambulances are still operating on the scene preparing the victims for transport.
Rockets have been landing in the greater southern area for the past hours, over 40 according to most reports with an extremely limited and restrained Israel Air Force response. IAF aircraft are seen operating over Gaza at this time.
UPDATE 22:31: Official sources are now reporting one of the victims of the last rocket attack is in serious condition. All of the victims are en route to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.
UPDATE 22:45: All the wounded from the rocket attack, four in total, are border police personnel. It appears the seriously wounded officer is a female although this is yet unconfirmed.
