Eida Chareidis Ravaad HaGaon HaRav Moshe Sternbuch Shlita has released a letter in which he comes out against Asra Kadisha without mentioning the organization by name. This provides additional credibility regarding the split between the Gavaad and Asra Kadisha in recent months, which includes threats to the Sternbuch home back in June 2012, as was reported by YWN-ISRAEL.
In his letter dated 22 Menachem Av 5772, Rav Sternbuch mentions an area where there is no need for protests while another area in which kevarim R”L are being exhumed, nothing is being done.
The letter responds to a question regarding construction in Beersheva by the Karaso Company, pointing out the latter is committed to operating under the watchful eye of rabbonim, supervised by HaGaon HaRav Nissim Karelitz Shlita and HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita, adding the company has already spent a sizable sum and there is no fear here and no place for protests. Everything is being done under hashgacha and the actions of the company are praiseworthy.
The digging in Eshta’ol however is a different matter and there chas v’sholom there are true concerns and the matter is being addressed. If they remain insistent, then the Badatz will be approached to call for protests.
Regarding construction in Nesher, operating as if they have a permit from HaGaon HaRav Shmuel Halevy Wosner Shlita, this is an absolute lie and he does not permit anything. Many Jewish graves have been upset and exhumed and more will be publicized on this matter.
