I got a “floating pen” for chanukah its a pen with a magnetic base the pen stands straight up in the air i thought it was neat.

I miss those CR days. I think all I spent my time on back then was the GS, the mazal tov thread, maybe hangman, and pretty much the socializing threads.

Hi Kapusta! Long time no read. I keep thinking I can stop signing in, since I come here to procrastinate sometimes, but other times I can’t talk myself out of it. And now to find such a distinguished crowd all in one room, I couldn’t resist.
Kapusta sure you can use it, the pen is nothing special but the concept is kinda cool actually this one is made by totes the umbrella company.

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see the benefit of pulling reprints of controversial, difficult to understand and often off-putting concepts out there with no context or personal face to face ability to know your audience or answer their questions. I am disturbed by what your motive for such could possibly be, but knowing the damage it can/does bring, I prefer to err on the side of caution.
Torah is Torah, but good teachers will tell you that not everything can be taught to everyone at any time. Especially online. Why you insist and what you get out of it is beyond me.
And that is besides the point that most of it is already online with open discussions. Why not just join them and come back for the other stuff?

What reprint and what was off-putting about a Rav Chaim Vital or a Tanya? What I quoted from them is taught in Yeshivas to 9 year olds starting in 3rd grade.
