On Erev Rosh Hashanah a new Sefer Torah was brought to the Erlau Beis Medrash marking two years since “the recovery”, referring to the rebbe. The Sefer Torah was donated by Rav Yaakov Sholom Fischer.
The “recovery” refers to the rebbe taking ill suddenly while resting in Switzerland, and then “suddenly”, without any explanation, he was well again.
Participants report the hachnasas Sefer Torah was very modest, but nonetheless emotional and meaningful, as the rebbe expressed his gratitude to HKBH, citing how HKBH controls the world and one’s healing can occur “in the blink of an eye”.
