Brooklyn Mom Plans $25M Lawsuit After Son Dies From MRSA

mrsa11.jpgThe mother of the 12-year-old Brooklyn boy who died last week from antibiotic resistant staph infection [reported HERE on YW], told the Associated Press that she plans to file a $25 million lawsuit. She said that Kings County Hospital improperly diagnosed the illness of her son, and sent him home after treatment with allergy medicine. He died of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (“SUPERBUG”) two days later, on Oct. 14.
