We regret to inform you of the Petira of Hagon Rav Binyomin Zilber ZATZAL, a member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah in Eretz Yisroel, and Mechaber of Seforim “(Teshuvos) Oz Nidviru” and many others.
Rav Zilber took ill in the past year, and was Niftar earlier today at Maanei Hayishua Hospital at the age of 91.
Rav Zilber was known as “Binyomin Hatzadik” – the name that that the Chazon Ish used to refer to him when he learned by him.
The Levaya is leaving his home in Bnei Brak (Rechov Abayei & Rava) at 8:00PM tonight, and will proceed to Yerushalayim, stop in Kikar Shabbos, and continue to Har Hazeisim where the Kevura will take place.
