Boro Park: 3 Alarm Fire Tears Through Private Home [UPDATED 8:15AM EST]

A third-alarm fire ripped through a home in Boro Park, Friday morning.

The fire broke out in the basement of 1049 42nd Street, and quickly spread through the entire structure.

FDNY officials reported heavy fire on all floors of the structure, operating as an exterior attack – and removing all personnel from the building.

FDNY EMS is on scene and reports no injuries.

NYPD is on scene as well.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Expect traffic delays and the presence of smoke in the area.
