CONFIRMED: Suspect Arrested In Murder of Menachem Stark

starkSources have confirmed to YWN that one person has in fact been arrested in connection with the murder of Mencahem Stark Z”L. Kendel Felix, 26-years-old of 921 Montgomery Street Brooklyn NY, was charged with murder in the 2nd degree.

There had been much delay today after five persons had been detained and questioned in connection to the murder. As of this time, newly elected Kings County D.A. Ken Thompson has decided to just charge one individual in the murder. The other four individuals are expected to be released, although additional arrests are expected in the near future.

As YWN reported earlier this morning, our sources tell us that although there had been much speculation as to who and why had committed the murder, this tragedy had been a planned robbery, which ended very badly.

Stark, 39, was accosted and forced into a van outside his Williamsburg office late on the evening of Jan. 2. Stark’s partially burned body was found the next day by police in a trash bin at a Getty station on Cutter Mill Road in Great Neck.

As YWN reported last month, detectives had informed the Stark family that after months of investigations, an arrest was imminent. Although a date had not been set for an arrest, there was speculation that it would occur before Pesach or immediately after.

  1. After pressure of the community. He decided to charge only one individual on whom to throw the book on.

    No statements from the mayor.
    No statements from police commissioner.

  2. to #1, what do you want instant gratification? It has been a hard investigation for a crime with little facts to help. Give the police time to bring out the circumstances and facts, they are in the middle of the investigation, when they are ready to finish, then people can learn everything.

  3. #2..why would that be strange? If youonly have enough evidence at this time to arrest one guy then thats what you do…this is not strange at all. Alsothe other four could be not the other guy

  4. Always nice to see the YWN expert panel of detectives and investigators weigh in with their expertise and extensive knowledge to clarify all the legal/criminal issues in the stark case.

  5. Garlic,
I agree with you that they are in the middle of the investigation, therefore my question is How can some people make a New Version to the story with out any info given by the Police Commissioner? And even before anyone was charged they made this new version as a “Robery Gone Bad”
How? Further more why would a uy From Crown Heights have nothing better to do then to drive to Williamsburg.. to a hasid.. named stark.. to steal money, then to drag him into his van, sit on him, and accidentally kill him and burn him.
This story can be well sold to little kids and to old timers.

There was a Cellphone attached to the white Dudge 2002 mini van, reportedly linked to a man he had business with in the past.
Somebody definitely send them, this was not a Robery from a crown heihts guy decided to come to Willy to rob some money.

The ‘Robery Gone Bad’ Version, may be a dirty cover up.
