President Obama Condemns Jerusalem Synagogue Terror Attack

oban“I strongly condemn today’s terrorist attack on worshipers at a synagogue in Jerusalem, which killed four innocent people, including U.S. citizens Aryeh Kupinsky, Cary William Levine, and Mosheh Twersky, and injured several more. There is and can be no justification for such attacks against innocent civilians. The thoughts and prayers of the American people are with the victims and families of all those who were killed and injured in this horrific attack and in other recent violence. At this sensitive moment in Jerusalem, it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace.”

  1. How totally insincere he is. And notice he said “all those who were killed”probably feeling bad for the terrorist murders. His constant criticism of Israel only incites the arabs.

  2. Dear President your words are worthless so long you don’t tell them to fight these terrorist like you fight the ISIS and look away if a non combat is killed.

  3. “it is all the more important for Israeli and Palestinian leaders and ordinary citizens to work cooperatively together to lower tensions, reject violence, and seek a path forward towards peace.” – So this Moron just again agreed the recognition of a palestinian state?

  4. Read the statement, in urging cooperation he mentions the Israelis before he does the Palestinians, I guess he means it’s somehow Israel’s fault.

If he really meant it, he should have spoken more forcefully and blamed the incitement by Mahmoud Abbas and West Bank and Gaza’s media. But let’s face it folks, the victims are nothing but Jews.

  5. You people are very interesting. If Obama doesn’t say anything you complain, if he does you complain. I’m not here do defend or to stick up for our president, but please make up your mind. And BTW he is the president of the USA if you like it or not he deserves some respect.

  6. For someone to deserve respect, that person has to inspire respect. He is the first American President that is thoroughly distrusted and laughed at by every European head of State, even by those who disliked his predecessor.

  7. I don’t think the answer to murder is “lower the tensions”.
Is that what he’s expecting from the U.S Government when ISIS is beheading captured American citizens?!?
Talk about being disconnected from events…
Does this look to him like an interest in peace?!?

  8. The very first thing this idiot must do is to withdraw every last dollar of aid that goes to Palestinians. Obama’s constant criticism of Israel is getting boring, and is defining his position as president. His continual support of terror, which he labels as humanitarian is unacceptable. If he will put our money where his moth is, he might have a chance. However, I will not waste my time waiting for him to take some real steps. reality is that there has never been a Palestinian or Muslim that belonged at a negotiating table. They have no capacity to either participate in true dialogue, nor to uphold the commitments they make and sign. They are barbaric savages with no potential to coexist with humans. The baloney about negotiation and peace is misguided. They cannot compromise and make peace. They can only be beaten into submission. Eradicating them will end this constant cycle of war, violence and terror.

  9. Obama urges Israel and the Palestinians to work together to achieve peace and practice restraint when he knows that the Palestinian leadership encourages their people to kill Jews. Would he practice restraint if his family was attacked? As for Major Lazer: what’s so hard to understand about “you people”. Obama is no friend of the Jews; he’s wrong for not speaking up when he should and when he does speak up, his words are meaningless. He doesn’t deserve respect just because he is the President.

  10. After condemning the terrorist attack, Obama continued to say “This is not the first loss of life in recent months. Too many Israelis have died. Too many Palestinians have died…” He speaks just like Mahmoud Abbas, who while condemning the attack, added that “we also condemn the aggression toward Al-Aqsa Mosque and other holy places and torching of mosques and churches.” In Abbas eyes, Jews walking on Har HaBayis are equivalent to Arabs murdering Jews in shul. Similarly, in Obama’s eyes, Jews being murdered in cold blood are no different than Arabs who were killed because of Hamas’ cynical use of them as human hostages during the Gaza war. Furthermore, why even talk about Arab Palestinians as victims? Why not just condemn what just happened like every other world leader. Obama’s anti-Israel attitude shines through at every opportunity. –

  11. Editor, please remove comment #9, MosheInGalus’ comment. It’s inappropriate.
I distrust this president immensely but such a comment is not to be printed.
Aa for #8 Major Lazer’s comment he begets the respect he earns! He’s earned his disgrace! No?

  12. THIS LIAR IN CHIEF has instigated all of this. he keeps blaming Israel. If the president was a man and not a Jew hate and have the guts of Guliani who would have said no more money to the PLO until abbas takes positive steps to lower the tone;and we will not give another dime to the UN until they stop printing hate books to teach arab children. obama, abbas, hamas and the un are all the instigators

  13. I join Yaapchik in requesting the mods to remove the offensive post. Regardless of whether its author meant in that way, it has the stench of bigotry, and should not be allowed on a website which purports to represent Torah Judaism.
Racism is NOT condoned or sanctioned by the Torah.

  14. “If Obama doesn’t say anything you complain, if he does you complain.”

Yup. It is always Obama’s fault. Why should he ever do anything to help Jews or Israel when he gets blasted as much as terrorist murderers no matter what he does? The vitriol directed towards him rivals that directed towards Israel by anti-Semites.

  15. Major Lazer,
Since you seem to be confused, let me enlighten you. Up until “At this sensitive moment…” was normal and expected. What comes after that is uncalled for. Is that your reaction to a victim, to run over and make sure he won’t G-d forbid hit back?
