In light of the worrisome security situation, Housing Minister (Bayit Yehudi) Uri Ariel on Monday decided to cancel a planned visit to Har Habayis. When he informed the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) of his planned visit days before it was to take place, the security agency asked him to reconsider due to the security situation.
After contemplating the matter, Ariel agreed to accept the ISA’s recommendation to cancel the visit.
