IDF Ambulance Carrying Wounded From Syria Is Attacked By Druze Protesters – Two Syrian Rebels Reportedly Killed

033For the second time in the past 24 hours, Druze villagers protesters threw stones at an IDF ambulance transporting wounded Syrians near Majjdal Shams in the Golan Heights on Monday night.

According to multiple reports, two soldiers who were in the ambulance were lightly hurt in the attack. The two wounded Syrians – who were reportedly being transported in critical condition – were not as lucky. At least one of them is reportedly dead.

All four were taken to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed.

A report on the Syrian government’s official news agency SANA said the following:

“An Israeli ambulance which had been transferring injured terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra ran over a man before fleeing towards Nahariya hospital in northern occupied Palestine after locals in Harfeesh village in al-Jaleel stopped the ambulance to search it. The residents of the village demanded that the Israeli occupation authorities stop providing support terrorist organizations that kill innocent people in Syria. This support includes, but is not limited to, transporting terrorists and treating them in Israeli hospitals.”

  1. “northern occupied Palestine”, “demanded that the Israeli occupation authorities”

Who wrote this junk? Read the material before you decide to copy/paste from someplace. This “news” site is a joke.

  2. They were Syrians but they aren’t among those fighting the regime.

Poster #1 is right about copying from AP and other news sites, often their reports are filled with propaganda words that just slip by without notice but, eventually, make an impression on a reader’s mind, less so, with informed readers, like those who frequent this site, but it’s to be discouraged.

Anyway, they didn’t save terrorists but they tried to save Syrian citizens, it’s the value of human life that all medical organizations uphold.
