The Jerusalem District Court on Sunday, 7 Tishrei, approved the administrative detention of Meir Ettinger. Ettinger was arrested after an administrative detention order was issued against him in Menachem Av. Authorities allege Ettinger heads a Jewish underground and he is working to overthrow the government to replace it with a government run by halacha. The fact he was arrested by administrative order indicates there is a lack of evidence which would be used to arrest him, charge him for his crimes and place him on trial.

Attorney Yuval Zemer of Honenu filed the petition on Ettinger�s behalf. It now appears Honenu plans to study the court�s decision and will then appeal to the Supreme Court.
