Us Open Worker Demoted For Asking Off On Rosh Hashanah

(Sunday, August 29th, 2010)

A Us Open worker says he was demoted after telling his boss he couldn’t work on Rosh Hashanah.

David Kramer, 61, claims he was downgraded from assistant manager when he said he wanted Sept. 9 and 10 off.

A spokesman for the US Open said Kramer was merely under consideration for the manager’s post.
