3:50PM EST: An NYPD Chopper has just crashed at the water near Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn. Numerous NYPD Units responding to the location. There is no word on the condition of the officers.
UPDATE 4:02PM EST: The chopper made an emergency landing in the water, and have all been extricated from the aircraft and are being brought to shore. Inital reports tell YWN that their injuries are all minor.
The NYPD Aviation headquarters is located in Floyd Bennett Field.
UPDATE 4:09PM EST: FDNY EMS reports that they are treating 5 officers for minor injuries.
