Five IDF soldiers were wounded on Thursday as the army intensified its efforts to stop the ongoing Kassam rocket fire from the Gaza Strip.
In separate incidents, two soldiers were lightly-to-moderately wounded by anti-tank fire in northern Gaza.
Elsewhere in Gaza, three soldiers were lightly wounded during the exchange of fire with Palestinian gunmen.
