If you read Rav Avrohom Blumenkrantz ZT”L Pesach Digest, You will find an entire Psak why Rav Moshe ZT”L and other Poskim held/hold that grape juice is not prefered. In fact he writes that it is better to water down your wine then use Grape Juice.
