Venice police arrested a man suspected of sending anti-semitic hate mail to the Jewish Center of Venice. Daniel A. Coolbaugh, 49, was arrested and charged with criminal use of personal identification information. The case started in October 2006 when the JCV got several suspicious letters in the mail. One letter stated: “I’m Mike Nazi” of Lake of the Woods development. Another identified “sick Nazi” as “Mike” of Lake of the Woods. (Sun Herald)
