There was a bit of speculation when the photographers captured a shot of Yahadut Hatorah�s Rav Yisrael Eichler speaking with Yesh Atid�s Yair Lapid in Knesset on Tuesday 25 Shevat 5773, during the 19th Knesset swearing-in ceremony.

Ladaat.info managed to speak with Eichler to ask if he would disclose the nature of that conversation, and he was willing.

�I told him that his father Tommy asked me at this ceremony ten years ago to maintain mutual respect and I told him the kovod of bachurei yeshiva is my kovod and if you do not compromise their kovod, I will not compromise yours.�
