Trump would actually have had a better argument if he had retained legitimate election experts and lawyers to press his claims. Instead, he went forward with the biggest show and clowns ever assembled in the history of American election litigation starting with Guiliani, Ellis and that world-renowned dog-pillow expert, Mike Lindell to lead the charge. Even otherwise sympathetic Trump judges, including SCOTUS, threw them out of court on both substantive and standing grounds. In depositions, Crazy Rudy claimed he “knew nothing” about election laws in the states where he appeared to claim fraud and also said he had no obligation to undertake even minimal diligence or verification of the allegations he included in his filings. As to Lindell, the guy seems in desperate need of professional intervention (along with his chevra in the Cyber Ninjas of Arizona fame)
