The main point is that Yaron Lischinsky, a Christian-Israeli diplomat working at the Israeli embassy in Washington, DC, was killed, Mr. Lischinsky who was born in Germany to a Jewish father and Christian mother, moved to Israel at the age of 16, where he remained a devout practicing Christian. The Forward adds that he found a spiritual home in a Messianic congregation near Jerusalem’s bustling Mahane Yehuda market. The problem is that Lishinsky a non-Jew, who is a missionary, was granted Israeli citizenship with his christian mother. All this is encouraging assimalation in the State of Israel.
