It’s just about popups, every time you go shopping online, there will be photos of inappropriately dressed women displayed. This is the normal reality of just about any shopping website, & many information sites as well. My filter changes the skin tone of people to dark gray, thus sparing me from viewing forbidden images. In addition, if you have children or teens around, you certainly have a responsibility to filter your/their access. I know this from my own experience; your exposure to non-Tznius images online (from otherwise benign sites) will decrease tremendously after installing a good filter.
We are living in a world with so much pritzus, that many frum Jews don’t even realize there’s a problem viewing it, it’s become so normal.
The Chasam Sofer writes that each Jew has 2 sets of eyes, his physical eyes & his spiritual eyes, the more careful he is with his physical eyes, the better he’ll see with his spiritual eyes. Vice versa as well. We want to have xray vision with our spiritual eyes one day, so let’s protect our physical eyes with a filter.
