Trump is factually correct for the most part. I think he shouldn’t have said it because it’s not his place to decide who is a Jew and who isn’t. But that is my criticism of the messenger, not the message.

I would say they are at minimum a self hating Jew…but not necessarily stupid…
MosheR53, it wouldn’t be factually correct either if Trump said they weren’t Jewish. My point is that he shouldn’t opine on what defines Jewish interest.
If he (or any non-Jew) wants to support Jews, he definitely can do so. I think it’s not his place to define what Jews want, though. Not a monolith, but more diverse than some would acknowledge.
