Trump is factually correct for the most part. I think he shouldn๏ฟฝt have said it because it๏ฟฝs not his place to decide who is a Jew and who isn๏ฟฝt. But that is my criticism of the messenger, not the message.

MosheR53, it wouldn๏ฟฝt be factually correct either if Trump said they weren๏ฟฝt Jewish. My point is that he shouldn๏ฟฝt opine on what defines Jewish interest.
If he (or any non-Jew) wants to support Jews, he definitely can do so. I think it๏ฟฝs not his place to define what Jews want, though. Not a monolith, but more diverse than some would acknowledge.
