Violent clashes broke out early Thursday afternoon near Bar Ilan Street in Jerusalem between dozens of extremist residents and police forces.

The police used crowd-dispersal measures, including stun grenades, to restore order amid reports that three police officers were lightly injured. The extremists claim that the protest was held against the attempted arrest of “draft dodgers.” A ben yeshivah who was involved in the clashes was arrested by the police.
