Like so many of us, those living in America can only sit back and view the photos and videos, together with our davening.
However, there is one thing that really perplexes and frightens me as I view these photos and videos.
Spectators are walking up to see the missile hit sites, some as spectators, some as emergency response. And as they do, they are breathing in the toxins from the fires, from the chemicals of the missiles, and the buildings or cars burning.
I had a friend who was a cop who went down to help in 9-11. He died two years ago from a host of illnesses which came from breathing in the toxins. We know that from 9-11, there were over 7000 people who died from breathing in the toxins.
Yet, people are walking up right next to these fires and bombings, voluntarily breathing in poisons that will cause health issues for years.
Please keep a distance, but if you do need to draw close, put a mask on. This is not a lifestyle change for years, months, or even days.
For a few hours until the toxins have settled.
Save your health and save yourself some pain later in your life, and tell others so they can likewise save themselves from later pains.
Wear a mask if you are going near a place of toxic air.

It’s or only bomb sites to distance from. But from individuals who smoke. Second hand smoke is dangerous. Like rabbi Avigdor Millervm once said. Even a man with a long white beard and he smokes is a Shoyta. A fool.
Well put, a point not really given enough attention…
People do not get sick from being near a car or building fire, if this was the case every fire fighter would eventually get sick. Those who got sick from working at the 9/11 site got sick from spending all day for 3 months breathing in toxic smoke from a fire that was thousands of times greater than a car or basic building on fire.
