At the direction of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis Donovan, Joint Task Force Southern Spear carried out a lethal strike on a vessel tied to narco-trafficking operations in the Eastern Pacific, killing one suspected narco-terrorist. Two survivors were rescued, and no U.S. troops were injured.
