The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Westchester, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess and Ulster Counties. It will remain in effect until 3 p.m. Wednesday.

This alert means significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also possible, making travel hazardous.
