Wednesday Afternoon News Briefs from Eretz Yisrael


A terrorist was apprehended with a firebomb in the Kalandia area on Jerusalem’s northern border on Wednesday at about noon.

**Paratroopers operating in the Dahaishe area of Yehuda, Gush Etzion, during the night were targeted in three firebomb attacks. Baruch Hashem, there were no injuries reported.

**A police car was attacked at the intersection of Amos and Malchei Yisrael Street in Geula. No additional information at this time.

**A fireworks storehouse was uncovered by police in the Ramat Elchanan area of Bnei Brak.

**Arrangements have been made to permit 10 buses into PA-occupied Shechem on Taanis Esther, visiting Kever Yosef.

**The secular ‘Yerushalmim’ organization is meeting on Wednesday in City Hall to continue voicing their objections to mehadrin bus lines.

**Arabs in Chevron and the surrounding areas continue burning tires, targeting Israeli vehicles and soldiers with rocks and creating disturbances. Security forces are using riot-control adjuncts.
