this is a little tangential, but does apply to chazarah.
i just heard a few minutes ago on a tape from Rabbi Avigdor Miller, tz’l,
that when learning Gemorah it is advisable to have in mind that you are going to have to say over the sugya, or the Tosfos or whatever, to someone later that day, like youre going to give a Shiur to young Bochrim. then say it over to yourself without looking in the Gemorrah.
