His Rebbe was the Avnei Neizer. Are you qualified to judge which of them was greater? But regardless, I still don’t get what his point was. Is he saying that one should follow his Rebbe over the gedolim? Is he saying that even if one is greater than the gedolim he should still follow the gedolim?
