I am so pleased to have placed among the finalists in the MonkeyWriter Post Contest. Receiving this award is such an amazing honor.

I feel humbled by the whole experience. I never thought I would win such an honor, let alone on The Yeshiva World Coffee Room, and certainly not from Shnitzy with a -y and not an -el.
Mark Twain said, “To refuse awards is another way of accepting them with more noise than is normal.” Even without a lot of noise, it has been an experience to remember.

Thanks to everyone for your moral support, and especially my English teachers, who I managed to ignore most of the time. Thank you all again!
