I see Toi is expecting an “equality shmooze.” So here’s my bit for the equality shmooze if and when it comes. Interesting to note, men have a tremendous yetzer hara pushing them not to learn Torah. Women’s yetzrei hara keep busy pushing them away from doing what they are supposed to do, Torah learning not on top of the list. Aside from learning halacha lemaaseh & maybe a little mussar, probably not on the list at all. So a woman actually trying to sit down and learn the Daf every day will have greater hasmada with less effort than her husband.
