AYC: What Bracha L’vatalah is there during the day? It’s just a Hagafen and if you drink the grape juice it’s a Bracha you have to make anyway. At night you would have to say Mekadesh Yisrael V’yom Hakippurim if you hold there is a Chiyuv of Kiddush.
