if you are overweight then your belt is sitting on top of a slope (curving inwards ) and by the laws of physics will tend by the force of gravity to fall.

options:

1. lose enough weight that your abdomen is approximately flat

2. suspenders

3. wear your belt high enough up to be above the midpoint of the curve (“nerd” style)

4. live with it
