I think you’ll have a close to impossible time reconciling this gemara with the version found in the New Testament. I always wanted to claim that Netzer is really Yoshke, who was called Yeshu Hanotzri, and the pesukim fit. (The first pasuk is about Mashiach, and the second pasuk is that they came to his grave a few days after he was killed and couldn’t find his body.) But I don’t really think this theory is emes.
