You’re right, I didn’t mean a politician who professes to listen to daas Torah, i mean an ehrliche yid who actually does. Anyone who’s every move is based on the gedolim will not go wrong. Of course, there are plenty who claim to be supported by gedolim, but have no plans of actually listening to them. I was talking about someone who’s sincere only wish use to represent daas Torah in the government. I would give examples, but any example would get people upset and detract from the point. In the recent elections, someone came over to a Rosh Yeshiva and told him that a certain politician was waiting outside for a brochah. The Rosh Yeshiva asked “With a camera?” That kind of politician I’m not talking about, and just because someone claims to be endorsed, and even has a picture, doesn’t mean he is.
