FYI the Queen of England is actually powerless and basically a ceromonial position. The Kings and Queens of England were basically stripped of their powers in 1689 for the gloriuos revolution.
And I am not so sure Queen Elizabeth is a direct decendent of William the Conqueror either. There have been breaks in the monarchy and there was a civil war in england in the 15th century (War of the Roses)
