circusgirl: i don’t think lying is ever a good idea. but (if this is the case) try to get across the message that you are working on it & trying to forgive her & it’s just hard. don’t act like you’re just being mean & you don’t really care if you forgive her.
since jax brought this up, i’ll just say the thing that always helps me personally with forgiveness is understanding why & how the other person did what they did, imagining me in their place & putting myself in their shoes. understand that everyone makes mistakes and if they are really sorry & apologized, what more can they really do?
