I have a sixteen yr old sister that I really trust. Tonight, I left my cell phone on the counter in the kitchen for literally 2 minutes as I walked out of the room to get something. I came back. She was peacefully reading my text messages, unabashedly. It hadn’t even occurred to me that she might do that, I had such confidence in her.
I felt so, so violated and I feel awful about some of the texts that she read-people trusted me and now I feel like I betrayed them that she read texts that they sent to me. I am so upset about it;(
I was so shocked, I had no idea how to react, so I sort of made a joking comment about being a snoop. I’m so angry at her. How could she invade someone’s privacy like that?
